Shelley Glover, USski team member, Olympic development team soccer player and former Shorewoodswimmer, died following a ski training accident in May 2004 at age 17.  Her dream of providing after school andsummer access to athletics to all children was apparent as early as elementaryschool at Lincoln.  Shelley soenjoyed the fun, family involvement and camaraderie that sport provided.  Most of all, through sport she was allowedto develop the self esteem to pursue her dream.

She wishes most of all for family fun and sport to help build self esteem and the selfdiscipline to pursue Òwhatever your life goals and dreams may beÓ.   This fund was created to make hervision become a reality.

Help us increase her Memorial Fund, held by the Foundationfor MadisonÕs Public Schools, to establish a $500,000 Endowment Fund to provideswimming lessons and develop a swim team at the Irwin and Bob Goodman CommunitySwimming Pool so all area children have the chance to learn to swim, be safe inthe water and enjoy the enrichment of the family and pool experience.
