Clerk of Course Information
The Clerk of Course will be located on the corner of Flad Avenue and Lewon Drive. Swimmers will enter the staging tent at the check-in table. A volunteer will check off each swimmer as they enter. This will be the only entrance to the Clerk of Course.
General Information
Events will be announced over the PA and an individual will go to each tent with a bull horn. Encourage swimmers to come on the first call to the Clerk of Course. Only checked-in swimmers, coaches and parents with passes will be allowed in the tent. We have to be very strict about this to help stay organized. Please explain this to the parents!
Heat sheets will be posted near the entrance.
Swimmers should not bring personal items to the Clerk of Course. We will have labeled baskets outside of the tent for them to leave items such as towels, sandals, shoes etc.
Please remind swimmers when they are in the tent to...
- show respect and good sportsmanship
- use a quiet voice
- stay seated
- ask for help if needed
We will request help from coaches if there are any behavior issues. Please let us know if there is anyone that needs extra support, help or encouragement.
Thursday Preliminary Heats for 11 & Older
ALL swimmers must report to the check-in table when events are called and enter the tent. The 11-12 age group events will be staged and swimmers will be asked to remain seated. These children will be escorted to the correct spots behind the blocks. The 13& older swimmers will check in, but not be required to sit in “assigned”seats. These older kids will be responsible for getting themselves to the correct heat and lane. Volunteers will be available in the tent and behind the blocks to help confirm heat and lane information.
Friday Preliminary Heats for 8& Under and 9&10

Remind younger swimmers to use the bathroom BEFORE coming to the tent!
