Directions

From Beltline at Verona Road: Exit Beltline (Hwy.12/14/18) SOUTH on Verona Road (Hwy. 151) to RIGHT on Raymond Road to RIGHT on Gilbert Road to RIGHT on Barton Road. Swimmer Drop-off is on the Barton Road side of the Ridgewood Pool Clubhouse. Barton Road, in front of Ridgewood Pool, will be closed to traffic except for those dropping off swimmers. No public parking will be allowed on the closed portion of Barton Road. Citations will be issued for unauthorized parked vehicles on any closed roadway.

From Beltline at Whitney Way: Exit Beltline (Hwy. 12/14) SOUTH on Whitney Way to LEFT on Barton Road. Swimmer Drop-off is on the Barton Road side of the Ridgewood Pool Clubhouse. Barton Road in front of Ridgewood Pool will be closed to traffic except for those dropping off swimmers. No public parking will be allowed on the closed portion of Barton Road. Citations will be issued for unauthorized parked vehicles on any closed roadway.

From Fitchburg/Verona: NORTH on Verona Road (Hwy. 151) to Left on Raymond Road to RIGHT on Gilbert Road to RIGHT on Barton Road. Swimmer Drop-off is on the Barton Road side of the Ridgewood Pool Clubhouse. Barton Road in front of Ridgewood Pool will be closed to traffic except for those dropping off swimmers. No public parking will be allowed on the closed portion of Barton Road. Citations will be issued for unauthorized parked vehicles on any closed roadway.

Closed Roadways: Barton Road from Lewon Drive to Knox Lane, Flad Avenue from Lewon Drive to Wicklow Way, and Lewon Drive from Barton Road to Flad Avenue will all be closed to public traffic. Unauthorized vehicles will be issued citations. Residents on all closed roadways will be allowed access to their driveways 24-hours a day.

Swimmer Drop-off

The swimmer drop-off will be on the closed portion Barton Road in front of the Ridgewood Pool Clubhouse. The entrance for the swimmer drop-off area will be on the corner of Barton and Lewon Drive. Barton will be open for swimmer drop-off ONE-WAY west to east ONLY. Please notify your team parents they must move through the drop-off in an expeditious manner. Vehicles standing too long will be required to move on and re-enter the drop-off area. Bins for the food drive will also be available here.

Parking

Parking (coaches and officials): Each team will be allotted one official parking pass. The parking area will be on the closed portion of Flad Avenue, between Lewon and Wicklow. Parking adjacent to the pool will only be allowed approximately 100 yards from the corner of Flad and Lewon on the south side of the street only. Please see the signs marking the “no parking” area curbside. There will be NO PARKING on any road on the Ridgewood Pool side of the street. Violators will be subject to citations and towing at the owners expense. The parking area may be entered from either end of the closed portion of Flad Avenue. Given the large number of small children, please exercise EXTREME CAUTION when driving and parking on Flad Avenue. Please plan for ample time when arriving each day.

Parking (public): With the exception of the closed roadways surrounding Ridgewood Pool, parking is allowed on both sides of most streets in the Ridgewood Pool neighborhood. There will be overflow parking on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday, at the Orchard Ridge United Church of Christ, 1501 Gilbert Road, between Barton Road and Tolman Road. There will be overflow parking on Thursday and Friday ONLY, at St. Maria Goretti Catholic Church, 5405 Flad Avenue, between Gilbert Road and Lewon Drive. Parking will not be allowed at St. Maria Goretti on Saturday, August 4, 2007. Violators will receive citations.
