VOLUNTEERS NEEDED for the 2010 ALL-CITY SWIM MEET!

WHO:

YOU!!! and your family, co-workers, friends, neighbors & teens.

(Great way for teens to receive service hours!)

WHAT:

You're invited to be a volunteer at this year's ALL-CITY SWIM MEET.

WHEN:

Thursday July 29 - Saturday July 31,2010

(some shifts available prior to the meet itself)

WHERE:

Hill Farm Swim Club (HFSC), At the corner of Regent and Eau Claire streets in the Hill Farm Neighborhood

(Close to Department of Transportation and Hilldale Shopping Center)

WHY:

It takes hundreds of volunteers to host a successful All-City Swim Meet. Although HFSC members are expected to volunteer for a minimum of four shifts per family, there are MANY MORE positions to fill.

HOW:

It's easy and quick! to go to our new volunteer registration site.

To register, all you need is your name, address, phone and email address.

Your birthdate will be requested to validate age requirements on specific jobs.

On the new system:

You will see a description of each volunteer role and any special skills that may make it a good fit for you. The MAJORITY OF ROLES require NO PRIOR EXPERIENCE or specialized skills...just friendly people who want to help! If training is necessary for a specific role, it will be provided!

You can see who else has volunteered for various roles and times.

WHAT'S IN IT FOR YOU?

Genuine appreciation from the Hill Farm All-City Committee and from each swimmer who has a GREAT All-City Experience.

Personal knowledge that you were an IMPORTANT PART of the success of the 2010 ALL-CITY SWIM MEET

Everyone who volunteers for at least one shift will receive a colorful 2010 Volunteer Shirt

(Exception: Timers who will sign-up through their own pool's swim coaches/pool managers).
