Emergency Weather Sites

In the event that it is necessary to clear the pool area due to severe weather, the following two Verona Area Schools have graciously offered participants and spectators safe shelter.

Savanna Oaks Middle School

Proceed south on Seminole Highway. Turn left (east) on Lacy Road. Turn left into the Savanna Oaks Middle School parking lot.

Enter through the main doors. You may: seek shelter in any of the hallways to the left or the right, remain in the main area (the cafeteria).

Stoner Prairie Elementary School

Proceed south on Seminole Highway. Turn left (east) on Lacy Road. Turn left on DeVoro Road. Turn left into the Stoner Prairie Elementary School parking lot.

Enter through the main doors. You may seek shelter in: any of the hallways to the left or the right, the cafeteria (to the left as you enter the building)
