Directions To Seminole Pool
(5938 Schumann Drive) From downtown Madison take Monroe Street to Nakoma Road. Turn left on Seminole Highway and head south on Seminole Highway. Continue on Seminole across the Beltline (Route 12) and through the intersection of Seminole and McKee Road (Hwy PD). Turn left on Schumann Drive. Pool is located on your left at 5948 Schumann Drive. From other locations take the Beltline (Route 12) to the Midvale Avenue (Route 18) exit and head south toward Verona. Midvale turns into Verona Rd as it passes under the Beltline. Head southwest on Verona Road to McKee Road (HwyPD). Turn left on McKee and head east. Turn right at the second stop light which is Seminole Highway. Turn left on Schumann Drive. Pool is located on your left at 5948 Schumann Drive. Swimmer Drop Off If you are on Highway PD, coming from the west, pass Seminole Highway and proceed to Osmundsen Road. Turn right on Osmundsen Road. If you are on Highway PD, coming from Fish Hatchery Road, pass through 2 sets of stoplights and proceed to Osmundsen Road. Turn left on Osmundsen Road. At the bottom of the hill, turn right on Schumann Drive. Follow Schumann Drive to the two Swimmer Drop Off sites: the tent site or the pool site (see map below). In this manner you will be heading in a direction recommended by the City of Fitchburg Police. Parking will be permitted on the north side of Schumann Drive. So, if you find a spot, take it. If you are not able to secure a parking spot on Schumann Drive, continue through the Schumann Drive and Seminole Highway intersection to the various parking areas. The City of Fitchburg Police recommend that you do not turn on Seminole Highway with the intent to turn left on Schumann Drive. Cars will not be permitted to park on the south side of Schumann Drive. Cars will not be allowed to stop that are on the south side of Schumann Drive. Attempting to turn around in driveways or on Schumann Circle or Park Hill Circle has the potential to create a traffic headache. Parking Information
