The Seminole Sharks joined the All-City League in 1994, serving then and now as the only pool based in Fitchburg. In the ensuing years, both the membership and the swim team have grown consistently larger, with the swim team producing several Olympic trial-caliber swimmers. Seminole’s dive team is an excellent organization as well, consistently on the rise in the standings.

Seminole has been a model for fast meets since its early days, running efficiently with the largest teams in the city. While the Sharks’ performance in the pool has greatly improved in those years, the massive growth in membership and quality of service is what the staff and members themselves are most proud of. Every year, the team engages in a service project with Second Harvest Food Bank, helping raise funds and awareness for an important cause.

Seminole has a unique structure, coming in at 26.5 meters long. While some may see this as a disadvantage, the Sharks embrace it, and “26.5” has become a popular design choice for team apparel in recent years.
